Digital Fringe has wound up for another year. We are in the process of picking through over 700 entries and dozens of MPU hours to produce a 'best of' which we will make available for download. Thanks everyone for submitting entries and participating.

Broadcast across the city using screens, projections, and the web, Digital Fringe showcases the latest digital art from around the world and features interactive media shenanigans from a gaggle of local media artists.
Digital Fringe: Part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival (September 26 to October 14)
Digital Fringe will be broadcast to dozens of screens around Melbourne and over the web, it has three parts:

General Stream
A curated list of digital art distributed across the Internet and dozens of screens around town. - Interact: Mobile Phone Text and MMS
Artists using and interacting with live text and mms data from phones. -
MPU (mobile projection unit)
Crews taking out a vehicle with a powerful projector and a bunch of hardware onto the streets of Melbourne, the results of all this will be streamed back to the web in real time.
